What GPU do I need for offline models?
You need an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA 12+ support. For larger, more accurate AI models, we recommend an RTX 3080 or better. Older GPUs may work with smaller models.
What are hosted (cloud) 3rd-party models?
Coming soon for Pro users! Hosted models let you use powerful cloud-based speech recognition without needing a GPU. Third-party usage fees may apply depending on the provider you choose. Your audio is sent to the 3rd-party service for processing.
Can I use Echophrase offline?
Yes! After logging in once to activate your account, Echophrase works completely offline. All transcription happens locally on your device with no internet required.
Can I use Echophrase without a GPU?
Currently, an NVIDIA GPU is required. CPU-only support may be added in the future.
When will Enterprise plans be available?
Enterprise plans are currently in development. Follow our social sites to be notified when they launch.
How do you ensure privacy?
All processing happens locally on your GPU with complete privacy. Your voice data never leaves your computer and is never sent to any server.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?
Yes! Cancel anytime with no penalties. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual). See our Terms of Service for details.
